“Another ‘no,’ another bad grade, another failed relationship, another unexpected bill - God, where are you? I need you, but you don’t seem to care.” Some of us have been there. A land plopped between a rock and a hard place. No sun, no stability, no outside interest. You feel stuck, and even worst, you feel like finding

Accepting Christ is like getting an invitation to give your heart away, open up your mind, and expose the softness of your spirit. To release your heaviest responsibilities into the lightness of a Man without an individual body. Wherever you go, wherever you turn, you can rest assured that you're taken care of, watched over, loved.

Can I be honest with you? That’s exactly what I’m doing through my first new series in two years: A 20 Something Christian Perspective. We’re getting “Candid about Christ” and how to maintain a Godly lifestyle in an increasingly Godless world. This isn’t another cookie-cutter Christian series. It’s real life. Let’s learn, live, love and laugh together, again.

The idea came from a combination of a few silly memories. The first was my freshman year of college. We had an open-door policy. That basically means, any Joe Blow with an ID could walk into your dorm room and say things like, “PG people like to party.” The second was the driver of this nostalgic series, my

About me
My name is Monet A. Stevens, and I am not hiding
anymore. I started this blog back in
2013 to empower introverts to love their unique personalities and encourage
them in a world that praises extroversion. After a long break, I have
decided to return with the beautifully crafted lessons God has taught me since
then and the stronger and wiser mindset that He has given me. This year, and for the rest of my life, I
hope to walk further in my purpose and fulfill my personal and professional passion
to build and strengthen individuals and communities through mass communication. I don’t profess to know everything, but that’s
where God and you come in. No matter who
you are or what your personality type is, I hope that we can continue to grow
together, be our best selves together and encourage one another.
Love,
The Unashamed
